I spent days trying to replicate\u00a0 a workflow that I have relied on for years in another software. DAYS. Flow is a difficult state to reach when doing something as technical as rigging and skinning is a process that most everyone hates, even riggers. I&#8217;m one of the few that enjoyed the process as was able to get to a nice zen state and just&#8230; well&#8230;\u00a0 <em>flow<\/em>!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m a big dork.\u00a0 Where&#8217;s my badge?<\/p>\n<p>This is also\u00a0 not the only impressive improvement in the newest release.\u00a0 Checkout the list of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blender.org\/features\/2-76\/\">new features <strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>*UPDATE*<\/p>\n<p>CGCookie just released a short video demonstrating this new skinning feature, along with the Mesh Data Transfer tool, which simplifies the process of transferring skinning weights.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"788\" height=\"443\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MRhkkT8SMls?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Blender has a new version out, and the thing that first caught my eye was the image below.
