{"id":1829,"date":"2009-04-14T13:36:22","date_gmt":"2009-04-14T17:36:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jerslife.com\/word\/?p=1829"},"modified":"2011-07-04T13:41:45","modified_gmt":"2011-07-04T17:41:45","slug":"mental-reset","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.jerslife.com\/word\/mental-reset","title":{"rendered":"Mental Reset"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Where am I now? \u00a0I\u2019ve just moved down from Vancouver, BC (aka  \u201cHollywood North\u201d) and am taking my\u00a0sabbatical in Washington  state\u2026\u00a0\u00a0about 30 minutes south of Seattle.I\u2019ve been down here for about 2 months now and am still building up  momentum. Since I\u2019m working almost entirely in a digital world, I have  to fight for some sort of balance with reality. \u00a0Dance, jogging,  cooking, drawing, etc. Jogging is relatively new to me, but I must tell  the skeptics out there there that I used to think running  was\u00a0ridiculous,\u00a0but then I experienced what it was able to do for my  mood. Was able to quit my depressive drinking and smoking in days, and  feel better for it. \u00a0Ok, I admit to taking 2-3 drags off a cigarette,  here and there.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I do have a primary blog that I\u2019ve been updating for the past few  years, though I needed to pull myself away from it in order to gain some  freedom in what I can say. \u00a0You don\u2019t know my name\u2026 but you kinda  already know my address.<\/p>\n<p>Before the end of the month I need to figure out my next move. \u00a0I  have enough money saved up for almost a year of freedom. \u00a0I can use this  time to veg-out, or I can do something constructive with it. \u00a0Luckily,  I\u2019ve been keeping productive.
